Things are looking up for the Bulls

The Bulls have received a massive boost as they begin preparations for their Super Rugby Semi -Final in two Rugby Injuryweeks’ time as three of their Springboks return to training.

The Bulls finished in second place over all in this year’s Super Rugby allowing them a week off while places 3-6 scrap it out for the right to enter the semi-finals.

This break has given the SA conference champions time to reintroduce Springboks Jan Serfontein, Francois Hougaard and Flip van der Merwe back into the squad before they host the highest ranked winner from this weekend’s Qualifiers.

Other good news is that promising youngster Paul Willemse managed to play 62 minutes of U21 rugby last weekend and will also be considered for the semi-final.

Matches this weekend see the Crusaders host the Reds and the Brumbies host the Cheetahs for the rights to enter Super Rugby’s semi-final.
