Wales and England go through to Junior World Cup Final

Both Wales and England upset the apple-cart and beat their Southern hemisphere opponents yesterday, to go through to the final of the IRB Junior World Cup.

Wales managed a last minute score in the corner – which had to then be converted – to beat the reigning champions, while the English raced to half time lead of two scores and never looked back.

This means that for the first time a Northern Hemisphere side will win the yearly showpiece for under 20 players.

SA v Wales Scorers:

Wales – Tries: Ellis Jenkins, Ashley Jay Evans. Conversions: Sam Davies (2). Penalties: Davies (2).
