Bulls ring the changes as they welcome the Highlanders to Loftus (team sheet)

Bulls coach Frans Ludeke has made five changes to his side ahead of their match with tournament bottom Teamsheetsfeeders, the highlanders, this weekend.

–          Jan Serfontein returns from injury in place of Wynand Olivier.

–          Lionel Mapoe starts, Bjorn Basson drops to the bench.

–          Francois Hougard starts at scrumhalf with Jano Vermaak being benched.

–          Frik Kirtsen and Morne Mallet start in the front row.

–          Werner Kruger drops to the bench and Dean Greyling out of the squad.

–          Hooker Callie Visagie replaces Willie Wepener on the bench.

Morne Steyn will win his 117th cap and in doing so pass Victor Matfield and Dannie Russouw’s record of 116.

No.8 Pierre Spies will win his 100th cap for the Bulls after making his debut in 2005 on the wing against the Highlanders.

“These milestones are special, but there is a place for that. My focus and that of the team is fully set on the Highlanders and what we need to do to beat them. We did very well against the Hurricanes two weeks ago, had a week’s break and now need to find that rhythm and momentum again.” Said Spies.
