Morahan won his first Wallaby cap un 2012 against Scotland at Fullback, but has been over looked at this position with the Reds. He has spent four years in Brisbane but has not been able to secure a perminant starting role for the Franchise. Saying that, he should walk onto the Western Force side.
However the Reds do look set to re-sign Wallaby hooker James Hanson this week, Hanson expressed an intressed in leaving as he had fallen behind fellow Wallaby Saia Faingaa in the Reds pecking order. However after talks, they have convinced him to stay on.
“James had a lot of potential to move elsewhere in Australia in the last couple of weeks but we’ve had some really positive discussions,” head coach Richard Graham told AAP.
Wallaby lock Rob Simmons has also agreed to extend his contract with the Reds, but will only do this once his central contract has been agreed with the ARU.
